When can I see the Athletic Trainer?

The Athletic Trainer is available on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Health Center. Please contact Kristen Russell at klrussell@owu.edu to schedule an appointment within that time frame.

What happens if myself or a teammate is injured at a practice?

In the event of an injury during a practice that is deemed not a serious health risk, please visit a Physician in the OWU Health Center on Mondays or Thursdays or contact Kristen Russell, the club sports Athletic Trainer, at klrussell@owu.edu to schedule an evaluation. If the injury is severe or life threatening, please call an EMS, utilize OhioHealth Grady Memorial Emergency Room or OhioHealth Urgent Care of Delaware.

Do you suspect that you have a concussion?

Please contact Kristen Russell at klrussell@owu.edu to report the suspected concussion. Per OWU's policy, suspected concussions will need to be evaluated by a Physician.
