We encourage parents and families to be involved in their student’s education. We truly appreciate all parents do to enhance the overall Ohio Wesleyan experience for not only their student, but for our entire student body. There are many ways to be involved—from participation in the Parents Leadership Council to volunteering with Career Connection and partnering with Admission to welcoming new parents and families to campus.
Parents of all students admitted to Ohio Wesleyan University are members of the Parents Association, which promotes increased parent support of the university through philanthropic giving, volunteering, attending on- and off-campus events, and staying connected to the university.
As the executive body of the Parents Association, the Parents Leadership Council provides parents with a forum for discussion between the parent community and university leadership and faculty.

The A/PART program is a network of alumni and parent volunteers who assist with college fairs, calling admitted students, submitting student referrals, and hosting or attending regional admission events.
The Speakers Bureau consists of OWU parents who are willing to speak at Admission and Alumni Relations programs both on and off campus. The Speakers Bureau serves as a go-to list for the Admission Office and Alumni Relations to secure speakers and panelists throughout the year.
