Social Media Marketing, Metrics Expert to Speak at Ohio Wesleyan

DELAWARE, Ohio – Amy Marshall, chief operating officer of Fathom Columbus, will discuss “Using Online Data Research to Build Marketing Plans” when she speaks Nov. 15 at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Marshall will present at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Bayley Room on the second floor of Ohio Wesleyan’s Beeghly Library, 43 Rowland Ave., Delaware. The event is sponsored by the university’s Woltemade Center for Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship. Marshall joined Fathom Columbus (then Webbed Marketing) as a partner in 2007. She has more than 15 years of marketing and sales experience. Before joining Webbed Marketing, she held positions at international software companies including Sterling Commerce and Quest Software, focusing on product marketing and global channel development.

During her career, Marshall has led international marketing campaigns for flagship products, and her work has been recognized by the media, the industry, and her channel partners. While at Quest, her product line was recognized by TechEd in 2007, winning the “Best of Award for the SharePoint Category.” Her Internet marketing strategies focus on using communities and Web 2.0 technologies to help businesses grow. Marshall also has extensive experience in working with technology companies through mergers and acquisitions.
