An international effort to help end extreme poverty in sub-Saharan Africa was conceived at Ohio Wesleyan University, and officially launched in April 2010. Shakepoverty OWU is the first partner of Shakepoverty Foundation. Shakepoverty board members and Shakepoverty founder Farooq Busari ’10 are networking to seek additional partners from other universities, corporations, and concerned citizens of the world.
