Population Connection President to Speak at Ohio Wesleyan

DELAWARE, OH – The Ohio Wesleyan University Sustainability Task Force and Sustainable Delaware welcome John Seager, president of Population Connection, for a free lecture, “Soaring past 7 billion: Population Challenges in a Crowded World.”
Seager will speak at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 in Room 312 of the R.W. Corns Building, 78 S. Sandusky St. Formerly with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Seager has served as president and chief executive officer of Population Connection since 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
Washington, D.C.-based Population Connection focuses on achieving global population stabilization through universal awareness and access to voluntary family planning combined with the full empowerment of women.
