OWU Student Film Projects on Food
“Short Order” is a 33-minute collection of 10 short films about food issues. The films were completed by students in a class on ethnographic and documentary filmmaking. Inspired by “Bite,” this year’s Sagan National Colloquium on food and nutrition, the films examine such topics as cooking styles, nutritional problems, commensality (eating to build community), local agriculture and farmers’ markets. These are the students’ first films.
