Ohio Wesleyan University’s intergenerational living community, Austin Manor, has been a unique part of the OWU campus for more than 25 years.

The article discusses Austin Manor, an intergenerational on-campus residence, with OWU students and employees as well as senior citizens among its residents.
In the article, writer Victor Luckerson says: “Austin Manor’s uncommon integration began in 1985, but it can provide a successful blueprint for how colleges and college towns can recruit both the young and the old today. Making a college town a retirement destination can help diversify a community’s economic base as well as its demographics.”
