Ohio Wesleyan University Opens Doors to St. Joseph's Students
At Ohio Wesleyan, providing real support to students in transition is a core part of our mission. We know this is a difficult time for the students of St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind., which has announced that it is suspending operations.
Ohio Wesleyan is reaching out to the students of St. Joseph's and will match any institutional grants and scholarships (excluding athletic scholarships) plus an additional $6,000 transfer award per year (renewable).
"It is deeply disheartening to lose an outstanding liberal arts institution like St. Joseph's College," said Susan Dileno, vice president for enrollment. "We want to do all we can for St. Joseph's students to offer a smooth and easy transfer process to a Top 100 National Liberal Arts College that provides the small classes, personal attention, and rich opportunities that they value."
Ohio Wesleyan has a proven history of helping transfer students build a rich and relevant education in our welcoming, vibrant campus community.
St. Joseph's students interested in transferring to Ohio Wesleyan University will need to apply for admission using either the Transfer Common Application or the OWU Online Application. They must also submit a FAFSA to receive the matching grants and scholarships plus the additional $6,000 per year transfer award.
