Ohio Wesleyan University Appoints Director of Financial Aid
Kevin Paskvan will become Ohio Wesleyan’s director of financial aid July 8.
DELAWARE, OHIO – Ohio Wesleyan University today announced the appointment of Kevin Paskvan as director of financial aid. Paskvan currently serves as senior associate director of financial aid and information systems at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
At Ohio Wesleyan, Paskvan will oversee the four-person financial aid office, which awards university, federal, state, and private financial aid to prospective and current students. The office seeks to partner with families to make an Ohio Wesleyan education accessible for qualified applicants.
Paskvan will join Ohio Wesleyan on July 8 and will report to Rebecca Eckstein, vice president for university enrollment and strategic communication.
“Kevin has more than 17 years of higher education experience,” Eckstein said. “During that time, he has acquired strong technical and customer-service skills, enabling him to assist students and parents, as well as campus colleagues, with all financial aid questions. I look forward to working with Kevin to help students achieve their educational aspirations, and I am pleased to welcome him to the Ohio Wesleyan family.”
At Kenyon, Paskvan has served as senior associate director of financial aid and information systems since 2010. Previously, he served for five years as Kenyon’s associate director of financial aid. Prior to that, he served as a business systems analyst at Columbus College of Art and Design, and he began his higher education career as a financial aid computer specialist at Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio. Paskvan also works as a systems consultant for Pennsylvania-based TMDPartners Inc., which helps higher education clients to utilize technology as effectively as possible. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in management of information sciences from Franklin University.
