Science, literature, and the mysteries of attraction intertwine in the past and present for family and visitors at an English country house. Comedy, ample wit, and the elements of a good detective story all add to the experience in this award-winning contemporary masterpiece. Eight wacky characters get snowed in during a gallery reception in upstate New York, and hilarity erupts over mistaken identity, secret schemes, jealous lovers, and financial ruin. Winner of three national comedy awards, Flanagan’s hilarious romp is a farcical take on celebrity and an affectionate tribute to loyalty and love. This play will be directed by Ohio Wesleyan faculty member Bonnie Milne Gardner and performed in the Studio Theatre of Chappelear Drama Center, 45 Rowland Ave., Delaware. Ohio Wesleyan’s Richard M. Ross Art Museum
Aug. 20 through Sept. 23 – “Howard Little: Coming Home,” featuring paintings by Little and “Eric Nation: On and Off the Wall,” featuring furniture by Nation, at Ohio Wesleyan’s Richard M. Ross Art Museum, 60 S. Sandusky St., Delaware. Little (1883-1965) was an early California realist landscape painter who captured the essence of the new American frontier.
