Ohio Wesleyan to Host Second Annual ‘A Cappellooza’ Nov. 15

DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University’s Campus Programming Board will host the second annual “A Cappellooza” concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

The voices-only showcase will feature performances of some of Disney’s most-beloved songs by student a cappella groups from Ohio colleges and universities including Ohio Wesleyan, Denison, Oberlin, Wittenberg, and the University of Akron.

The event also will feature an appearance by VoicePlay, an Orlando, Florida-based professional a cappella group that creates the sound of a full musical production using only five voices. The group was featured on Season 4 of “The NBC’s “The Sing-Off.” Learn more about VoicePlay at thevoiceplay.com.

Tickets to A Cappellooza may be purchased at the door. The cost is $5 for general admission and $3 for children 12 and under, non-OWU students with valid student IDs, and senior citizens. Admission is free for OWU students and employees with valid university IDs. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
