Ohio Wesleyan to Hold Nov. 13 Heritage Day Celebration
DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University will host its seventh annual Heritage Day celebration Nov. 13. This year’s event, “Not Four Years but for Life: Celebrating 160 Years of Greek Life,” will include a “Review of the Decades” at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.
The free, evening presentation will take the audience on a journey from the 1850s to today, highlighting major achievements and events in the history of Ohio Wesleyan fraternity and sorority life. Active chapters will perform vignettes to capture the spirit of each story, and alumni speakers will return to campus to tell their stories.
During the event, Order of Omega will announce the David Hamilton Smith Award for Outstanding Greek Alumni Contribution to recognize the impact of Greek alumni at the university.

Additional daytime activities will include Heritage Day poster displays from every active Greek organization and a “Seek the Greeks” matching contest, giving registered groups an opportunity to match clues about famous OWU Greek alumni to their photographs.
