Ohio Wesleyan Professor Co-Edits Virginia Quarterly Review

David Caplan, Ph.D., an associate professor of English and associate director of creative writing at Ohio Wesleyan University, recently co-edited a special issue of the Virginia Quarterly Review devoted to American Poetry.
The Virginia Quarterly Review is an award-winning journal based at the University of Virginia. The special issue features critical essays and poems written by some of America’s most distinguished writers, including two Pulitzer Prize Winners.
The issue also includes an essay by Caplan on rhyme in contemporary poetry and hip hop and a sequence of poems he wrote set in Yeshiva Tiferes Bachurim, introduced by Stephen Burt and accompanied by photos taken by Noah Rabinowitz.
