Ohio Wesleyan Included in 2014 ‘Guide to 332 Green Colleges’
DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University remains one of the most environmentally responsible colleges in the United States and Canada, according to The Princeton Review’s newly published “Guide to 332 Green Colleges: 2014 Edition.” This marks the second consecutive year Ohio Wesleyan has been included in the guide.
The Princeton Review chose schools to feature based on a survey of more than 830 four-year colleges and universities in both countries. The survey included questions about course offerings, campus infrastructure, activities, and career preparation related to the environment and sustainability.
At Ohio Wesleyan, the 2014 guide recognizes the impact of the President’s Task Force on Campus Sustainability; the LEED® Silver Certified Meek Aquatics and Recreation Center, which uses more than 90 geothermal wells to help heat and cool the building; the Light-Structure Green technology used to illuminate historic Selby Stadium; the student-led community garden project, and more.
