Ohio Wesleyan University won two CASE Circle of Excellence Gold Awards, capturing the Overall Category Grand Gold Award in the area of “Fundraising Programs” for Rock’s Amazing Race, a video and social media campaign from 2011 that helped drive end-of-year giving to the Ohio Wesleyan Fund. The entry also won a Gold Award for “Creative Use of Technology” in  the same category.

“Rock’s Amazing Race” earned a “Pride of CASE V” District award earlier this year. The Circle of Excellence Awards bring even more exciting recognition for the project on an international scale, as described on the CASE.org site:

“In 2012, CASE received more than 2,800 entries for consideration in  40 categories by 567 member higher education institutions, independent schools and nonprofits from around the world. Judges gave 275 bronze, silver, and gold awards. Nineteen institutions received the top prize of a grand gold award.”

Congratulations to the Ohio Wesleyan Fund and Marketing & Communication staffers who collaborated to develop an engaging, cutting-edge video and social media campaign that garnered international recognition.
