Ohio Wesleyan Alumnus Elected Co-Chair of Pulitzer Prize Board
Ohio Wesleyan University alumnus Gregory Moore, editor of The Denver Post, and Thomas L. Friedman, bestselling author and foreign affairs columnist for The New York Times, have been elected co-chairs of the Pulitzer Prize Board, Columbia University announced today.
According to the official announcement, Moore has been editor of The Post since 2002. He joined the newspaper after 16 years at The Boston Globe, including eight years as managing editor.
Moore graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in 1976 with a degree in journalism and political science, and he is a former member of the OWU Board of Trustees.
Under Moore’s editorship, The Post won Pulitzer Prizes for Feature Photography in 2010 and 2012 and for Editorial Cartooning in 2011.
