Why I Chose Greece?
"I decided to study abroad in Greece because of the course options and location. I've always wanted to go to Greece and the classes at The American College of Greece worked perfectly with my academic plans. I also really wanted to immerse myself in the culture and enjoy the delicious food!"
My Favorite Moment
"My favorite part of my study abroad experience was experiencing new cultures because it has helped me to grow professionally, academically, and personally. Every culture is unique in its own way and by broadening my perspective of the world, I feel better equipped to have meaningful interactions with everyone I meet."
Lessons Learned
"From my experience, I have learned that I am capable of navigating environments that are unknown to me. Seeing that I can be successful, even in a place where I do not speak the primary language, has taught me that I am more resilient than I thought I was. I am going to carry this lesson with me as I move into the professional world and start to navigate through my career."
My Campus Involvement
"Outside of the classroom, I am involved on campus in Greek life (Kappa Alpha Theta), the Economic Management Fellowship and its programming board, the Corns Scholars program, and before going abroad I was on the Woltemade Student Board and the Bigelow-Reed Programming Board."
Why I Chose OWU?
"I chose to go to Ohio Wesleyan because of the Woltemade Center's great programs and resources. I also was attracted by how cozy the campus is and how many ways there are to get involved on campus."
My Plans After Graduation
"After graduation, I plan to pursue my professional career, potentially in the project management field. I am eager to put my academic knowledge into practice!"
