Alaina Shearer

DELAWARE, OHIO – What are the Top 10 trends impacting today’s digital marketing and how should businesses respond? What’s the next big thing? And how can businesses create digital marketing plans that meet these trends?

Alaina Shearer, chief digital strategist for Columbus-based Cement Marketing, will share her insights during a free presentation this month at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Shearer will speak at 3:10 p.m. March 21 in the Bayley Room on the second floor of Ohio Wesleyan’s Beeghly Library, 43 Rowland Ave., Delaware. The event is sponsored by the university’s Woltemade Center for Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship. It will be streamed live and archived online at https://www.owu.edu/about/follow-owu/stream-owu/ for those unable to attend.

Shearer founded Cement Marketing in 2009 after recognizing the need for businesses to design and develop websites that also attract audiences through search and social optimization.

Previously, she created award-winning interactive work at Fahlgren advertising as the company’s senior interactive copywriter. She also writes Ms. Single Mama, a blog for single mothers that attracts 20,000 unique visitors per month. Learn more about Shearer and Cement Marketing at http://cementmarketing.com.
