Cynthia Davidson ’74The American Academy of Arts and Letters awards Cynthia Davidson a 2014 architecture award, noting her “contributions to advancing the knowledge of architecture and its relationship to the general culture have been important intellectual catalysts.” Davidson is founding director of the Anyone Corporation, an architectural think tank, and she has lectured at conferences and universities all over the world.

Sean Kay
Sean Kay, Ph.D., OWU professor of politics and government, discusses the situation in Ukraine and Russia with Voice of America senior analyst Andre de Nesnera and on CBS Minnesota’s WCCO-AM 830 radio program, “News and Views with Roshini Rajkumar.” Kay tells Voice of American that previous public opinion surveys showed only about 30 percent of Ukrainians support NATO membership while Russia strongly opposes it. He tells Rajkumar that Washington is cautiously optimistic de-escalation of the situation still is possible. Kay also participates in a two-week ongoing conversation about the issue with The WELL, the oldest online community forum, and will appear April 15 to on WOSU Radio’s “All Sides with Ann Fisher.”

Greg Zecca is named new head lacrosse coach at Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va. At Ohio Wesleyan, Zecca played both football and lacrosse. He comes to Ohio Valley from The Calverton School in Maryland, where he was named both the All-League and U.S. Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2012. Prior to Calverton, he had served as head lacrosse coach at Pennsylvania’s Haverford College and, internationally, as head coach and general manager of Team Italy.
