Culture Fest 2017
Culture Fest 2017 provided a feast of international delights March 4 as the annual event continued to dance, sing, and otherwise work its way into the collective heart of campus.
Each year’s Culture Fest is organized by Horizons International, a student organization that promotes cross-cultural friendship and understanding through social and educational programs.
Also keeping the campus clapping and celebrating this spring have been events including an Ohio Five Dance Workshop, a performance of Yetta Young’s “Butterfly Confessions,” Delta Gamma’s “Anchor Splash,” and a Charter Day program recognizing the 175th anniversary of Ohio Wesleyan receiving its charter from the Ohio Legislature.
The March 7 Charter Day event included a balloon drop with 600 red and black balloons as well as a $175 OWU Bookstore gift certificate for lucky winner Jenna Fannin ’20.
