Atomic Learning
Video tutorials to guide Ohio Wesleyan University students and employees through any of 130 common computer software applications—including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Web 2.0, Skype, Apple iWork, Google Documents, and Blackboard—are now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“Information Services purchased a subscription to Atomic Learning to empower our campus community—all faculty, staff, and students—to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies,” says David Soliday, help desk manager and technical trainer. “This puts technical training at your fingertips, at the time of your choice, in the comfort of your own desk or even from home.
“We will be offering in-person training for faculty and staff this fall on the features of the Atomic Learning interface, including the ability to assign and recommend tutorials to others.”
Soliday says he hopes the faculty and student support staff, including the Academic Resource Center, find Atomic Learning to be a valuable resource in integrating technology with education.
To access the Atomic Learning program, log into J/CX and use the same user name and password as when signing into Bishop Apps.
