Move-In Day Schedule for New Students

Thursday, August 14, 2025 (Sample Schedule; Subject to Change)

8 a.m.-12 p.m. – Arrive and move in to your residence hall.
Residential Life will be sending more information about move-in early 2025. New students who need to arrive early due to camps or programs will be contacted by their coach or program coordinator with their move-in information. 

11 a.m.-3 p.m. – Block Party (Welch Hall) sponsored by Residential Life

1-3 p.m. – Receptions 
Different areas (i.e., Woltemade Economics and Business Fellows , Legacy Families, Bishop Elevate (first-gen students) etc.) may choose to hold receptions. Invites to receptions will be sent directly to students and families.

3:30-5 p.m. – Bishop Welcome (Branch Rickey Arena) / Convocation / First Lap

5-7 p.m. – Free Time / Say Goodbye to Families
The rest of the program is for new students only.

7-8 p.m. – Camp Oh-Wooo Meeting (students only)

8-9 p.m. – Residential Floor Meeting (students only)
