New Bishops, we are so excited for you to begin your OWU journey and want to ensure you have a smooth transition to college.

The Becoming a Bishop Checklist is a list of some important items that you, as a new student, need to complete prior to enrollment. To enter the Becoming a Bishop Checklist, you'll log in using your OWU email account username and password. Most checklist items must be completed by mid-June for fall semester enrollment. If you have questions about how to use this site, please contact Brad Pulcini, Dean of Student Services, at btpulcin@owu.edu.

Activate OWU Email Account

Activation allows you to receive official OWU communications and provides access to necessary systems and portals to complete your checklist. Look for an account activation notice from webadmin@owu.edu within ~24-48 hours after paying your enrollment fee. You will be prompted to set up a secret question and answer and create a password. If you didn't receive the email, go to https://owu.edu/reset. You will enter your non-OWU email address, and it will send an activation/reset notice to you.

Submit Final Transcript

OWU is required to have official copies of your final high school transcripts and/or transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. High school and college transcripts should be sent directly to the Office of Admissions (owuadmit@owu.edu). Most times, your school will automatically send these on your behalf. If not, you can reach out to the Office of Admission, and they can provide additional help.
