11 a.m. Jan. 17 – The 29th Annual MLK Celebration honoring the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will debut on Ohio Wesleyan's official Facebook page. This year’s celebration, “Why We Can’t Wait,” will explore the journey toward justice. The online-only event will feature TED Talk-style presentations from Dr. Nicole Jackson of Bowling Green State University, Tamika Vinson-Reid of the Delaware African American Heritage Council, and Dr. Charles Montgomery of Vineyard Columbus. The online event is free and open to all, but contributions are being accepted to support the Delaware County MLK Scholarship Program for Delaware City and County high schoolers.
