Mark your calendars: next Wednesday, April 6th at 4pm, there will be a minga to support bilingual reading in Ecuador in the Faculty-Staff Dining Room (HWCC). Come learn about the importance of community libraries, play cards, and try some tasty food from a local Ecuadorian restaurant!
Minga is a Kichwa word that loosely translates as a “community effort”. All week there will be a donation box in the WLC office (University Hall) to collect donations for a community library in Puembo, Ecuador.
