Benes Room | Ham-Wil

Everybody at one point or another has either had a physical illness, known somebody with a physical illness, or learned about physical illnesses in a classroom or online setting. What about the illnesses that you can't see? It is estimated that 62% of people with disabilities have an invisible illness, yet these conditions are not readily talked about. Join us on Friday, March 25th from 6pm-8pm in the Benes rooms for a discussion-based presentation about ableism and invisible illness in honor of Endometriosis Awareness Month. At the end of the presentation, all participants will be given materials to compete in a painting contest where the prompt will be "paint what inclusion means to you." Hope to see you there!

Pre-Health Club, in partnership with the Office of University Communications, expects to have a student or freelance professional capturing photography or videography at this event. Images may be used internally or externally to promote OWU’s educational mission, student accomplishments, and student opportunities.
