You're invited to the lighting of the Hudler Memorial Christmas Tree, an OWU tradition since 2008. The lighting will take place at the tree, located on the front lawn near the South Sandusky Street-Park Avenue intersection.
The spruce tree was donated to the University in memory of Ron Hudler, OWU Class of 1956, who had owned of one of the nation's largest Christmas tree farms.
The free event will include music and brief remarks by Liam Nash of Sigma Phi Epsilon (Hudler's fraternity), President Matt vandenBerg, and OWU Chaplain Chad Johns. Hot chocolate will be served.
