Navin A. Bapat, Ph.D., the Dowd Professor in the Study of Peace and War at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, presents “Afghanistan and the End of the War on Terror,” in the Benes Rooms inside Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware. Bapat’s talk will explore the background of al Qaeda’s campaign against the United States, the aftermath of Operation Enduring Freedom, the structural flaws in the U.S. strategy, and the aftermath of the Taliban victory.
