Jemimah Chukwuemeka ’26 and Anya Robinson ’26 recently visited Montgomery, AL, to attend the Anarcha, Lucy, and Betsy Day of Reckoning Conference, which brought awareness to inequities that Black women in America face from the medical practitioners and systemically, particularly in childbirth. The students will be discussing their findings in an attempt to raise awareness of the issues that Black women in America face around maternal health and birthing.
