FAQ - Legacy Internship Program

Do I have to be a legacy student to apply for an internship?

Yes, all students applying for the legacy internship must be an OWU legacy.  Any family member relationship (cousin, aunt, uncle, parent, step-parent, grandparent, sibling, etc.) who graduated from OWU will be counted as a legacy.

Can I apply for more than one internship?

Yes. Students are allowed to apply for up to three internship positions; however, only one position will be awarded.

What is the payment for the internship?

Updated for 2024-2025, each intern will be paid $11.50 per hour for a maximum of 6 hours a week for the fall and spring semesters.  Legacies will receive be-weekly, automatic paychecks.

How do I apply for a legacy internship?

The application can be found on the Students page and opens annually each March.
