From February 19 at 12 p.m. (EST) to February 20 at 6:42 p.m. (EST), Ohio Wesleyan will host its fifith annual We Are OWU giving day campaign. For 1,842 minutes—in honor of Ohio Wesleyan's founding year—alumni, families, faculty, staff, students, and friends will join together to celebrate our rich history and pave the way for current and future Bishops.

Why is We Are OWU important? Well, every Bishop experience is made possible by philanthropy. Your gift serves as the catalyst for both everyday experiences at OWU and life-changing moments on campus and around the world.

Thank you for your help as an essential partner of We Are OWU! Every post, "like," share, comment, and video all add up to a tremendous collective effort that lets the world know Ohio Wesleyan is leading the way.

How You Can Help

Make Your Gift

Make your own gift early so that your classmates and friends will see a donor they recognize as the campaign kicks off!

It's easy to make a gift on the social fundraising page, and it will help us to reach our ambitious 1,000 donor goal. Thank you!

Advocate

Sign up as an advocate on the We Are OWU website and use the sharing buttons (near the video and under the "Advocates" tab) to share the campaign with your network. When you use these buttons to share the campaign while logged into your GiveCampus user account, the number of gifts and dollars generated by your sharing will be tracked next to your name on the Advocates tab.

When you track your progress, you can earn prizes, too!

Peer-to-peer outreach is the most successful way to encourage your OWU friends to make a gift. So, any outreach you can do will help!

You can send the sample email or text message found below or make your own!

Share an OWU photo, memory, and why you give back on social media. Use the hashtag #WeAreOWU and tag all your OWU friends! You can also use any of the sample social media posts and images from below.

Be sure to follow OWU on social media and like, comment, and reshare posts during the campaign.
