Together, We Are OWU.

From February 14 at 12 p.m. (EST) to February 15 at 6:42 p.m. (EST), Ohio Wesleyan will host its fourth annual We Are OWU giving campaign (owu.edu/WeAreOWU) to celebrate and support the Bishop community. For 1,842 minutes—in honor of Ohio Wesleyan's founding year—alumni, families, faculty, staff, students, and friends will join together and demonstrate the power of their collective effort to secure a cutting-edge education for current and future students.

Gifts through We Are OWU will:

Ensure college remains affordable and accessible for every OWU student
Sustain essential campus programs year after year
Provide OWU Connection opportunities to link academic learning to real-world experiences

Thank you for your help as an essential partner of We Are OWU! Every gift helps students make the most of their Ohio Wesleyan experience and prepare for lives of purpose. Every gift is an investment in the extraordinary leaders OWU students are now—and who they will someday be. Every post, "like," share, comment, and video all add up to a tremendous collective effort that lets the world know Ohio Wesleyan is leading the way.

How You Can Help

Starting now, you can play a part in We Are OWU in three ways:

Below, you'll find resources and instructions to make all of this possible. Use our outreach templates and sharing images as much as you like to help connect others to We Are OWU.

Pro tip: You can use the We Are OWU website tools to make your outreach even easier!
Bishop Emoji Socks Visit the We Are OWU page and create/log in to a GiveCampus user account. Then, use the sharing buttons (near the video and under the "Advocates" tab) to share the campaign via Facebook, Twitter, text message, and/or email. When you use these buttons to share the campaign while logged into your GiveCampus user account, the number of gifts and dollars generated by your sharing will be tracked next to your name on the Advocates tab.

When you track your progress, you can earn prizes, too! Check out the Incentives section on the left of the We Are OWU page for more information. Advocates who generate 5 gifts will earn a limited-edition We Are OWU pennant, and those who generate 8 gifts will earn a pair of OWU socks!

We need more voices! Together, we have the opportunity to tell the story of Ohio Wesleyan through the relationships that connect us—and we need you!

Sign up as an advocate on the We Are OWU website, track your impact to earn prizes, and upload a "personal plea video." Instructions for uploading the video are in the Advocacy Dashboard, but some tips to keep in mind include:

Keep the video to 15-45 seconds
Horizontal recordings work best
Remember to share who you are and why OWU matters to you
Ask for support

Participate

Please consider making a participatory gift to help us make the greatest impact for students and reach our ambitious 1,000 donor goal. Let's set another record! Consider making your gift a match or challenge to inspire others to follow your lead.
