Ohio Wesleyan University's goal is to offer the most positive experience to all visitors on our campus while maintaining a safe living, learning, and working environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
The Admission and Financial Aid offices are thrilled to welcome visitors in the newly renovated, historic Slocum Hall. Parking is available in the East parking Lot, off of Sandusky Street, just north of Edwards Gymnasium. There will be marked spaces for admission guests on the north side of this lot.
So that we can offer a positive visit experience, we prefer that you register for a campus visit in advance. Walk-in visitors will only be accommodated if we have an opening our one of our daily tours. If no space is available, you will be given the opportunity to take a self-guided tour, complete with QR codes for views inside our buildings. Self-guided tour maps are available on the map kiosk by the clock tower near Sturges Hall.
During the academic year (mid-August to mid-May) Campus Tours will be offered three times daily Monday – Friday, and two times on select Saturdays.
During the summer (mid-May to mid-August) Campus Tours will be offered three times daily Monday - Thursday and two tours on Friday mornings. Please note that OWU is closed on Friday afternoons during the summer (May 15 - August 4, 2023).
An information session will accompany your campus tour, providing additional information about Ohio Wesleyan and the admission process. Information sessions may be individual meetings with an admission counselor or in a group setting, depending on visitor volume, and may happen before or after the campus tour.
Requests for class visits as well as faculty and/or coach meetings will be scheduled based on availability and must be requested at least 2 business days before the scheduled visit.
If campus visitors are interested in trying one of our on-campus dining options they may do so at their own expense. There are also a number of restaurants in downtown Delaware that we would be happy to recommend. If you have questions about either option just ask the students and/or staff on duty.
