OWU's new, landmark partnership with Columbus State provides incredible scholarship opportunities, direct 2+2 pathways to bachelor's degrees, a fast-track program to a teaching certification, and a seamless transfer experience.
OWU's new Columbus State Tuition Match Guarantee is one of America's most innovative and generous pathways from a community college to a national liberal arts university!
Up to 25 high-performing Columbus State Community College graduates a year will be awarded the Tuition Match Guarantee, so the cost of their tuition at OWU will be the same as the current full-time tuition rate at Columbus State. For 2023-24, that rate for domestic students is $5,338 per year - that's about one-tenth of OWU's current tuition rate of $53,264. The Tuition Match rate for international students is $12,952.80.
Students receiving the Tuition Match Guarantee will receive the special tuition rate for up to four semesters.
To be eligible for Tuition Match, students must graduate from Columbus State with an associate of arts (AA) or associate of science (AS) degree and have a grade point average of at least 3.5.
For Fall 2024, OWU will select the first 25 eligible Columbus State graduates to receive this special tuition discount. Those applying after the first 25 will be placed on a waiting list.

You can transfer to Ohio Wesleyan anytime to pursue any major, and your general education credits will transfer with you. What's more, OWU and CSCC have created guaranteed pathways for 20 majors - and more are being added all the time.
These pathways serve as your roadmap to a Columbus State associate degree and an OWU bachelor's degree in your field.

The Teach Now program is OWU's accelerated teacher licensure pathway that allows highly motivated students to complete a two-year associate degree while still in high school by taking College Credit Plus/Dual Enrollment classes completed through Columbus State. They could then finish their bachelor's degree and Ohio teaching license - through OWU's accredited education program - and Ohio teaching license - in as little as two more years.
This innovative program addresses Central Ohio's teacher shortage by providing high school students with an affordable, high-quality pathway to becoming a licensed K-12
