Find out how much tuition, room, and board costs at Ohio Wesleyan University. For I-20 purposes, the full cost consists of billed charges and estimated personal expenses minus the Bashford International Scholarship. Learn More.
For our Spring 2025 session, Ohio Wesleyan offers a $30,000 per year scholarship to eligible international students. No additional application is required for the Bashford scholarship. This scholarship is not awarded on the basis of minimum GPA or test scores. Total billed costs are $70,834.
For our Fall 2025 session (new applications only), the Bashford Scholarship will be awarded at $35,000 per year. However, please note that our Costs & Fees will also slightly increase for the 2025-2026 year. All scholarships and awards are provided annually for up to eight semesters of enrollment or until graduation (whichever comes first), provided the student remains in good academic standing. Scholarships do not increase each year though the cost of attendance may increase.
Consideration for need based aid in addition to the scholarship is highly competitive and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Students receiving additional need based aid will be notified at a later time after the admission decision.
Full scholarships are not available at Ohio Wesleyan. For more specific questions, please contact the Office of International Admission at owuintl@owu.edu.
Merit awards may also be conferred by various academic departments, including Fine Arts, Music, Theatre and Dance, Economics, and Education. These scholarships are awarded based on competitive review (portfolio, audition, interview) by respective departments. Awards vary.
Need based aid for international students is highly competitive and not guaranteed.
Although OWU strives to meet need for accepted international students, full need is not guaranteed and need based aid awards are limited.
Any international student interested in applying for need based aid must complete the online financial form accessible through your application portal. This form is a checklist item required to complete your application and allow for decision review.
Application for financial aid is reviewed only at time of admission. Students cannot apply once enrolled.
On-campus student employment is possible for up to 20 hours per week, however, jobs are not guaranteed.
