About

Fan joined Ohio Wesleyan University in Fall 2024 as a cello instructor. She is an accomplished cellist and educator with extensive teaching and performance experience.

As an orchestral musician, Fan performs regularly with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, South Florida Symphony Orchestra, South Carolina Philharmonic, and several other leading ensembles across the United States. She has held principal and leadership positions with the University of South Carolina Symphony Orchestra, Aiken Symphony Orchestra, Conway Symphony Orchestra, and Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra. Her artistry has taken her to prestigious music festivals, including the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, where she performed as first cellist in Schubert's iconic String Quintet.

As an educator, Fan holds the teaching position at the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance's Q the Music program. She has coached young musicians through the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and continues to inspire students through her private teaching and university-level instruction.
