Graduate Placements: Medicine

During the past nine years (2015-2023), Ohio Wesleyan graduates have been accepted to six medical schools in Ohio (including The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University) and many top medical schools across the country, including those at Brown University, Georgetown University, Indiana University, the University of Colorado, Penn State, Tufts University and the University of Oregon.

In the past six years (2018-2023), 58% of OWU applicants have been accepted to a school or college of medicine. The national average over the same time period is 43%. In addition, more than 90% of those applicants from OWU that met or exceeded the median GPA and MCAT score for new medical school matriculants were accepted.
