Kara Cannon

Hello! My name is Kara Cannon. I was recruited to Ohio Wesleyan as a Track and Field athlete and ran for one year. I am dual majoring in marketing and fine arts. I love art, animation, working out, and spending time with new people. I am excited to represent my school not only as a Corns Scholar, but as a representative for women in business.

Olivia Danley

Olivia Danley is a rising junior at Ohio Wesleyan University where she studies economics and pre-law. Danley is a member of the pre-law club, moot court team, the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta, and the field hockey team. Last season Danley was awarded third team all American and NCAC's midfielder of the year.

Luisa Duarte

My name is Luisa Duarte and I am from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I plan on double majoring in Quantitative Economics and Finance, with a minor in Mathematics. On campus, I am part of the Accounting and Finance Fellows Program, Corns Business and Entrepreneurial Scholars Program, Economics Honor Society tutoring, and a member of the Investment Club. I also work as a grader for an Economics course and as an Economic Development Research Fellow with Regionomics. 

Jo Jo Fedoush

I am Jo Jo Fedoush, a rising junior intending to study business administration with a concentration in management, as well as religion. Graduating from Buckeye Valley High School in 2022, just outside of Delaware, Ohio, I intend to complete my bachelor's degree here at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2026 to pursue event planning with the goal of creating my own venue. I am currently employed in two jobs: Chipotle and a catering business called All Occasions. Besides professional information, I personally enjoy singing, coffee shops, thrifting, and my dear cat Pandora. Friends and family are a given, but it emphasizes the people who support you and the people you surround yourself with who make life better. With this scholarship, I hope to do the same thing for the community of women and others in a business and economic environment.

Kathy Habian

My name is Kathy Habian and I am from Medina, Ohio . I am a Business Administration Management major with a dual minor in Finance and Data & Society. On campus, I am involved in Greek Life (Kappa Alpha Theta), the Woltemade Economics and Business Fellows, the Corns Scholars Program, and the Sigma Beta Delta Business Honors Society. I studied abroad in Athens, Greece in the fall of 2023 and learned so much about how to successfully navigate new

environments! I look forward to applying all the skills I have developed throughout my time at OWU when I graduate in 2025 and begin my professional career.

Anna Haines

Hi, my name is Anna Haines and I am working towards a double major in Accounting and Communication with a Business minor. I am a member of the swim team, serve as the Model UN President, and work as a Bishop Ambassador. I am part of the Woltemade Center's WEB Fellows program, Accounting and Finance Fellows, Corns Scholars, and a recent inductee of the Economics Honors Society: Sigma Beta Delta. I am also part of Global Scholars and I intend to study abroad in Barcelona in the spring of my junior year. I am honored to be chosen as a recipient of the Women in Economics and Business Scholarship, and I am so excited for what lies ahead!

Giovanna Lacarrubba

My name is Giovanna Lacarrubba, and I am from Asuncion, Paraguay. Currently, I'm pursuing a major in Finance with minors in Accounting and Spanish. On campus, I'm actively involved in Viva and Model United Nations clubs, and I also dedicate my time as a tutor for Bishop Scholars while being part of WEB Fellows (Woltemade Economics and Business). Passionate about community service, I aspire to engage in various volunteering activities throughout my college journey. With the support of the Woltemade Center's Scholarship for Women in Economics and Business, I am thrilled to continue pursuing my aspirations and contribute to fostering a more diverse and dynamic business environment.

Katie Lucas

My name is Katie Lucas and I am a third year student from St. Marys, Ohio majoring in Business Management and Psychology. At Ohio Wesleyan I am actively involved in the Economic Management Fellows Program, the Corns Scholars Program, and Delta Gamma Sorority. I also work as a campus tour guide and resident assistant. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in Human Resources Management. I am honored to have been selected for this scholarship and am excited to continue to grow as a student and young professional during my remaining time at OWU.

Jenna Norman

I am a junior Economics and Politics & Government Major with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a member of the Corns Business and Entrepreneurial Scholars Program as well as the Economics and Business Student Board and Omicron Delta Epsilon - the Economics Honor Society. On campus I am also a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority

and on the OWU Cheer Team. I also am currently serving as Panhellenic Vice President of Recruitment.

Tasfia Rahman

I am a sophomore with a heart set on International Business and a passion for social justice. Bangladesh, where is home for me. Beyond academics, I'm always eager to expand my knowledge and make a meaningful impact. I work as a Program Development Ambassador at the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs which allows me to blend my passion for cultural inclusivity with strategic business initiatives. This summer, I will enhance my understanding of business and government relations through an internship in Washington, D.C.

Morgan Scott

My name is Morgan Scott, and I am from Lewis Center, Ohio. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration, and I am triple minoring in Accounting, Finance, and Psychology. I am extremely involved on campus holding Vice President of Chapter Programming and Development for Tri Delta this year. While at OWU, I have become an Accounting and Finance fellow and I have been inducted into Sigma Beta Delta. I am currently President of Marketing Group Club and Director of Community Development for the Panhellenic Council. I am an active participant in Bishop Scholars tutoring local second, third, fourth, and fifth graders. This semester I have worked with Makers Social as a Marketing Intern. Over this summer, I have an internship with Crown Equipment Corporation in a sales position. I am thrilled to be selected as the Women in Economics and Business scholarship recipient and to be provided the opportunity to expand my knowledge and seize new opportunities.

Aryaka Tickoo

I, Aryaka Tickoo, am from Mumbai, India, double majoring in Environmental Science and Business Management. Since my first year at OWU, I have been very involved on campus, which has led me to become the Vice President of Horizons and Women In Entrepreneurship. In addition, I am on the Dean's Council, the Campus Programming Board, Women In Science, and other student organizations. I have also contributed to the campus community as a Resident Assistant at Smith Hall and the Student Intern at the International & Off-Campus Programs Office since summer 2023.
