 A Little Bit About Me

Destiny's experience in entrepreneurial work in the arts brings a new, exciting dimension to The Woltemade Center. Destiny previously served as Director of Education and Administration for Opera Columbus. In that role, she oversaw the administration of annual productions and managed the creation and implementation of 12 educational programs and 25 community partnerships with local organizations and universities, reaching more than 16,000 people each year.

Destiny earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University and her Master of Science in Business Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. In August 2020, she was recognized as an emerging leader in Columbus and awarded the Next Up Columbus Award by The Columbus Young Professionals Club. In 2023, her musical production of The Journey: Civil Rights was selected as the 2023 Greater Columbus Arts Council Columbus Makes Art Excellence Award Winner.

Destiny's role as the Director of The Woltemade Center is to support the strategic vision of the center, benefiting students and enhancing the center's impact and visibility within the fields of economics, finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, accounting, and international business.
