About

Professor Younkman has an undergraduate degree in engineering and a master's degree in business administration, both from The Ohio State University. Before joining OWU, he worked as an equity analyst and director of research in the investment field for almost two decades, including almost a decade in New York at one of the largest institutional asset management firms at the time with over $50 billion in AUM. 

Professor Younkman primarily teaches finance courses and introductory accounting courses. His passions include investment analysis and derivative investment strategies. 

In addition to teaching, Professor Younkman runs a derivative based investment fund that includes student participation. 

Professor Younkman is a CFA Charterholder.
