THE SUMMER PROGRAM

If you are not able to be away from campus during the academic year, you are welcome to discuss Wesleyan in Washington summer opportunities. This option requires registration for Ohio Wesleyan University’s summer session program to receive credit. If approved, students can earn a maximum of three internship credits during summer. The Arneson Institute also is happy to facilitate summer internship credit opportunities at the local, state, national, and international level. Whether participating in this program or not for credit, all students doing summer internships are welcome to consult with the Arneson Institute staff about how to obtain the greatest value from their experience.

BEYOND WASHINGTON, D.C.: LOCAL, NATIONAL, GLOBAL INTERNSHIPS

The Arneson Institute also provides Ohio Wesleyan University students with a wider-range of connections for internship connections. Those wishing to work in public policy at the local (City of Delaware), state (Columbus), in other cities in the United States, or globally, also should contact the director to learn more.
