The Department of English at Ohio Wesleyan University has a longstanding tradition of inviting nationally and internationally recognized writers and lecturers to campus for the purpose of engaging, inspiring, and stimulating thoughtful discussion. Within the past five years, these honored guests have included National Book Award winner and MacArthur "Genius Grant" recipient Ta-Nehisi Coates, New York Times bestselling author Leslie Jamison, Pulitzer Prize finalist Lydia Millet, and United States Poet Laureate Natasha Tretheway, among many others. All events are proceeded by a Q&A and are free and open to the public. For more information on a particular lecture series, please click the title below.
