Claire Everhart, OWU Class of '10

Claire Everhart '10 is a legislative fellow with the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and Managing Director of Partnerships with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DCF). In previous roles, Claire liaised with financial institutions across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa to increase access to finance through mobilizing local private capital. Before joining the DFC, Claire served in a similar role with USAID's Development Credit Authority. She is President of the Board of On the Ground Global, a non-profit supporting fair trade coffee farmers globally, and a Truman National Security Project Political Partner, and recently launched a podcast on our individual and collective responsibility to Toil for Justice. She has traveled to nearly 40 countries across her work. She received a Master of Science (M.Sc) in International Public Policy from University College London and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Studies and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University.
