Emergency Action Plan – Selby Stadium

1. Remain Calm.
2. Dial 911 (need to dial 9 first if using a campus phone) and follow the steps below:

   2. I need paramedics at: Selby Stadium
      
   3. My exact address is: 45 S. Henry St.
      
   4. Athlete is located in/on: Field/Track
      
   5. Ambulance will be met at (what entrance, door, what side of building): South Gate to the Parking Lot
      
   6. I am calling from (phone #): ____________________
   7. Allow the operator to hang up first!!!
3. An automated external defibrillator (AED) is located in the Athletic Training Room under the west stands or on the sideline.
4. The most qualified individual will provide appropriate acute care to the victim of the emergency situation.
5. The most qualified individual will also direct:
   1. An individual to open up necessary gates/doors for emergency medical services (EMS) to enter the facility. (383 key for south gate)
   2. Persons to “Flag Down” the EMS team and direct them to the site of the emergency. (Meet at the South Gate entrance to the Stadium from Parking Lot and North Entrance to the Selby Stadium Parking Lot from S. Henry St.)
   3. Persons to oversee crowd management so as to not interfere with EMS.
6. Once EMS has departed, contact the Athletic Training staff member with your sport, if they were not present.
