Body Image Identity

With a posture and expression of strength and confidence, the figure in this design represents themes of body positivity and representation. The phoenix and the lotus flower are recurring illustrations throughout the design.

The phoenix is representative of resilience and inner strength. The predominantly displayed phoenix tattoo on the individual's arm is illustrated in a dynamic and vibrant composition. This design choice underscores the person's commitment to individualism and self-expression. 

The lotus flower further underscores this expression of strength. As they rise through muddy waters and emerge without stains, lotuses speak of beauty, rebirth, and overcoming adversity.

The tattoo theme is carried through the entire portrait to speak to the expression of self-identity. The vintage tattoo patterning in the background showcases familiar images representing strength while keeping a playful, retro style.
