On-Campus Engagement Opportunities

Employers interested in on-campus recruiting opportunities are invited to schedule an on-campus recruiting date. On-campus interviews and information sessions are conducted in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center. Two interview rooms and meeting spaces are available. Interviews may be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, from late September through April.

Special arrangements for interviews can be arranged. We prefer to have advance notice of at least two-three weeks to allow time to properly publicize your visit to our students. In order to allow a variety of recruiters to come to campus, we can accommodate two recruiting visits per organization each semester.

Information sessions and faculty connections (availability depending) can also be arranged. Information sessions usually take place in the evenings or at noon. If you plan to conduct on-campus interviews, information sessions are frequently scheduled the day prior to raise visibility and general awareness of your organization. If an evening program or presentation is desired, please mention this option when you contact us.

On-Campus Recruiting Options

Recruiting Materials and Advertising

Please be specific about special preferences related to the particular positions offered. A position description with the stated criteria will help ensure that you have interested, qualified, and informed candidates. We encourage you to consider all factors in reviewing resumes—many of our students have had marketable experiences outside of their formal academic programs.

Posters and flyers announcing your visit are encouraged. The office will promote your visit through Ohio Wesleyan's daily online event announcements and emails to students. You may also advertise your recruiting visit through purchasing an ad in the student newspaper, The Transcript, Ohio Wesleyan University, 106 Phillips Hall, Delaware, OH, 43015, (740) 368-2911, owunews@owu.edu. References to your organization's Web site are also appreciated.
